About

Stapleford Wind Sinfonia was formed in 2019 initially as a course-based symphonic wind orchestra, rehearsing at Stapleford Granary Arts Centre, near Cambridge. The aim of the ensemble was to explore symphonic wind, brass and percussion music in depth and enjoy the wealth of repertoire on offer. The members of this ensemble have since gone on to rehearse and perform together regularly and aim to produce concerts of variety with repertoire ranging from large-scale works to show pieces and film music. The Sinfonia is now based at St John's College School, Cambridge.
